Pretty much anywhere I can get a ride with another member to is good, though a place closer to Clinton here would be NICE. There anywhere halfway between that's a good compromise for everyone?

Speaking personally, I would definitely prefer the Norris Range, especially since I am already planning on being out there next Saturday to sight in my new AR-15 ;).

what little consensus that we have here points to going to Norris.

Like Garufa said we could maybe go back to Kingsport in June.

All in favor say AYE

I'm going to come out of retirement so to speak and make this shoot. It's been a while but now that the school year has come to an end I'll have more time to shoot, for a while at least.

Also AYE to Norris if I even have any bearing in the situation :koolaid:

You'll have to pay the fee at the Norris PD, they'll give you directions from there.

9 West Cir, Norris, TN - Google Maps

That is the address to the P.D. correct

You need to go to the P.D. to pay to get a key. They usually have a printout of how to get to the range from there, which isn't far.

I thought it was on the sixteenth?

What time do the festivities begin? I guess we ought to set some kind of time for everyone to think about. But it's all casual.

And for everyone that's never been up to Norris go to the PD first! I don't know if they ever come up and check who's shooting but the man says you best have a receipt if they do.

someone who is familiar with that place and who is coming ought to pick the time.

Are there facilities? Yanno a restroom? What about water or other beverages? Any fountains or soda machines?

I'll endeavor to be there around 11:00 am.

If I recall correctly there might be a plastic :P-house on site but cannot guarantee. Have not been there in a while. I do know there are no coke machines, sandwich machines or any other such conviences.
