Yep still on regular calender (they are on 24 bill out of 25 bills), restaurant is on Message Calender which only has 3 bills. There is also a consent calender with 15 bills on it. Don't know which one they will go to first.

Rep Kelsey likes the Senate version.

Hardaway asking if opt-in for local counties.

Nonconcur vote 45 Aye, 44 No, 2 PNV. Goes back to Senate for adjustment. If Senate does not concur with original House bill (Curfew/Carded Locations), goes to committee for discussion. Lousy.

Yep...

So much for whoever said Todd was going to support the Senate version.

But....looking on the bright side.....

It sounded like the intention is to get into a conference committee and keep the age restriction and remove the curfew. If so, maybe both chambers will agree on that.

Of course it sounds like Hardaway is still going to try and exempt Shelby county.....dumba$$ if any restaurant within the county doesn't want to allow carry all they have to do is post. Sounded like he would have to get one of the members of the conference committee to introduce that language, hopefully no one would do that for him. But a lot of that depends on who is appointed to the committee...let's just hope Nafieh isn't one of them.....

Wonder who the 2 present not voting were? and why?

if the two that were not present would have shown up and voted NO on the nonconcur then it would have all be good and would have been sent to the Gov's desk - I think.

Just pass the bill already

Something is wrong in a world where a person could carry at 11:00pm but turns into a law-breaker if they do the exact same thing at 11:01pm

Then again, as someone has pointed out, what are the odds of a person being at a restaurant at 11pm and not drinking? Has rarely, if ever, happened in my personal experience
