Restaurant Carry bill is to be considered again in the House today 4/23/09 at 9:00a.m. (Nashville time) I guess this is to debate whether to go along with the Senate version or not. Keep your fingers crossed.

Firearms and Ammunition - As introduced, allows person with handgun carry permit to carry in restaurants that serve alcoholic beverages as long as such person is not consuming alcoholic beverages and such restaurant is not an age-restricted venue. - Amends TCA Title 39, Chapter 17.

I have looked at their "agenda" and can't find where this is on the slate. Please provide item number and or source.

Never mind, it's not on the "regular" calender, it's on the "message calender"

Let's all hope it passes.

Item 2 on the House Message Calendar

They will probably go through the consent calendar first though.
