Remember When...

Target sold ammo?  Just found these forgotten treasures hidden away.  Bought around 1980 when I was just a kid...well my dad bought them.

Price on the 30-30:

Yep, people have told me I'm crazy when I say Target used to sell guns.  I stilll remembering drooling over a Winchester junior model pump 20 ga. they had way back in the early 80s.

You can tell folks those boxes of ammo came from Target on Colonial. 😀

My first rifle came from Sears. Dad got it for me for Christmas when I was 12. Special Christmas package. Marlin Model 99M1 .22, scope and case. He never told me the price, but it was cheap. 😉

I also remember Sears having around 30-40 rifles and shotguns in open racks on the display floor. Anybody could just walk over and pick one up to check it out.

My Granddad bought me my first rifle from Sears. Savage 4C, bolt action 22lr. I was 6 weeks old. Yes that's right, 6 weeks old. LMAO. My most prized possession of all my guns.
