Blocking ads

Starting this morning, I am getting the message that I am blocking the rotating banner ads on the top of the screen. I am not running any ad blocking software etc. This seems to have started after the database hiccup this morning. I am running Firefox. This is happening both on the personal mac and the work PC.

I assume this is a system wide problem as I have been experiencing the same thing.

Yep, my firefox doesn't like the ads either. I am running adblock firefox extension. Tried to allow it, but I failed.

My IE 7 is showing that as well. I felt guilty about it until I saw these posts.

My firefox does the same thing periodically, I'd say for about 2-3 months now, but it just makes the ads take a few seconds longer to load.

And here I was thinking someone changed my Internet settings....

Glad I'm not the only experiencing this.

mine does it intermitently on IE 7

Am running IE 8 and it has done it sporadically also.
