Bowtech Carbon Icon (ready to hunt pkg)

Selling my 2018 (I think) Carbon Icon. I bought this after I had to quit hunting with a traditional bow & I only ever took it into the woods once.

Fully set up at 70lb with a 29" draw (both are adjustable) with a Bee Stinger 12" stabilizer, Black Gold 3-pin sight, Smackdown Limbdriver Fallaway rest, FUSE 4 arrow quiver & Tru-Fire wrist release.

Comes with 13 Carbon Axis 5mm arrows, footed with aluminum (yes, they're all Gay Pink ) & as many broadheads as I have (without digging around, I think there's 6 G5 Montec 125gr)

Strings & cables have tons of life left. I'd be surprised if I've shot this 100 times since I bought it. It's literally setup & ready to hunt.

Turns out that it wasn't the 'Traditional'part of traditional bowhunting I had the issue with.

$600 for everything. Can meet within 1 hour of Tullahoma.

Heck of a setup.

I'd love to hear the story sometime about giving up hunting with a traditional bow to moving to a compound with a 70# draw.  You're tougher than me my friend.

To be fair, I hunted for years with 65lb recurves & longbows. By the time I'd hauled the string back to my actual draw length of 30¾" they were generally around 70ish anyway.

Honestly, I quit traditional because I got sick of hurting & losing animals. It goes against everything I believe in. I lost 8 out of the 10 deer I shot. I thought a sight & more efficient bow would solve the issue. Turns out that my problem is one of 'observed perspective' If I'm up a tree & shoot, when I get down again, I have literally no idea where the critter was stood when I shot. I ever went as far as taking compass bearings & eventually cellphone photos to try & find my shot spot. Unfortunately, from there, my brain can't process where the deer ran to be able to start looking for blood.

It was unbelievably frustrating.

So I said "Eff it" & just stick to muzzleloaders & rifles now & I keep my ass firmly planted on the floor! Haven't lost one since.
