The ongoing saga of my motorcycle builds....

I punched mine to 96ci so wanted to squeeze every pony I could put off it. It would blow the balffles out constantly, but I'm the kind of guy that used to shell it into the front room every winter and rebuild it every, single, year. Too old for that #### now though.

Is that the gear shifter in the middle of the pile?

Yessir. I took the heel shifter off. Can't abide the things. They just get in the way & take up foot space on the floorboard.

You know what? I'm kinda fond of that rear fender bib.

Unfortunately, it went with the seat.

Out of interest, it's going to end up not dissimilar to this.....

Your kidneys aren't going to like that very much. While it looks good, that no seat at all and no shocks are not going to be very comfortable. But the great thing about bikes is that they're pretty easy to customize and one can do what one wants.

I'm thinking those tassle bits at the top of the crap pile pic would glue onto a leather jacket as some kick-ass shoulder pads . . .

Now, tell me these aren't as sexy as hell.

Russell's twist clutch and no front brake lever make the handle bars look so clean.  I love this look but for practicality, I NEED my mirrors.

Well, I couldn't pass it up. 5 grand, 23k on the clock & a full, detailed, dealer service history & the engine is completely stock. She runs like a sewing machine too.

May I ask if you found this beauty locally or on a motorcycle website?

Just say "NO" to chrome.

I'm still waiting for cables & brake hose to come in.

I'm going to start ripping into the back end next.
