If you keep an inventory database, I'll bet some local college kid would love to write a simple script that would automatically update the website in real time.

Excellent idea.

Or, assuming you keep daily inventory on any kind of computer program, spreadsheet type or whatever, as long as it shows a list, you could simply make a daily PDF file and replace daily.

You can print a PDF from any program with the excellent free version of Primo PDF, if your program doesn't export PDF naturally.

Got a program that will let me make a form, save it as an editable pdf?

Several will do it, but no freebies I know of.

So has there been any substantiation to the original rumor/report?

Coworker who frequents the place verified. Employee shot himself in the hand with a 40 cal. Went through his hand and the display case beneath. Employee back at work with heavily bandaged hand.

Not sure what type of gun but probably not a Glock since his butt was not hit!

Wow. That is a pretty significant failure on multiple levels. Hope he did not lose anything that does not grow back.

Yep I knew it was a .40. Vero is right, since it was the hand and not the buttocks couldn't be a Glock.

I hope he is OK in time. Those guys at Gunny's are pretty good guys.

Just so they don't shoot themselves with .40's for a mention Phantom6 and Shadow12 are great guys at Austin's Tennessee Firearms. Who have a ton of Glocks in stock by the way.

Sounds along the lines of "How do you tell a good shop teacher?" "By the number of fingers he has left"

Bet the dude learned a valuable lesson.

It was a Glock 19. And the were 2 customers standing in front of the display case.

Glock 19 .40SW

:)

Glock 19 = 9mm

So it probably just pissed him off. No real danger.

Careful, guys. Karma can be a real bitch sometimes. :D

I know folks who have had a lot of gun handling experience who made an error in judgment and put a round into the dirt unexpectedly. This should serve as a reminder to all of us to be very vigilant about the condition of our firearms when handling them.

And also a reminder to carefully watch the counter monkeys at gun shops when they hand us something to look at. Most folks will show clear before doing so. If they don't, make them.

Don't laugh. They're "professionals." They say so in their ads.

Un-intentional self inflicted gunshot wounds are never funny. Just ask your gunsmith down there at CCA what he thought about both of his.
