I think of that Ruger every time I think of Jeff lol. Didn't get to shoot it but got to hold it if its the same one you're talking about. IIRC he was working on a 458 socom which would have been a "newish" AR at the time. Wish I could have hauled the entire "build room" back to my place lmao.

I had to look it up.  July of 2013 so almost 11 years.
