When you factor in health problems, auto accidents, alcohol fueled violence, alcohol kills over 100,000 people a year.

I saw that one person on there said it would help her to believe us if there were headlines about where carry stopped a crime. She should have listened to Eric Watson tell about the THP officer that was rescued by a HCP holder. To all who question why some of us feel the need to be armed at all times please read below, and I use this with all my sympathizes to the parents.

Hugh Christopher Newsom, Jr., 23, and Channon Gail Christian, 21, were a couple from Knoxville, Tennessee. According to a Tennessee grand jury, they were both raped and murdered after being kidnapped early on the morning of January 7, 2007. Their vehicle had been carjacked. Five suspects have been arrested and charged in the case. The grand jury indicted four of the suspects on counts of murder, robbery, kidnapping, rape and theft, while one final suspect has already been convicted of federal charges as accessory after the fact to carjacking.

Would being armed have stopped the above, only God knows but at least they may have had a chance.
