I need a Middle TN Jeep shop

Music City 4x4 has it. They diagnosed a worn drag link. Waiting on the part to arrive (RockJock CurrectLync). Should be done Thursday or Friday.

Of course on Sunday morning I went to start it up to take it up there and  *click* *click* . . . dead battery. I knew it was getting weak. Got an Interstate AGM from Costco and off to the races. Ordered a new AUX battery too. It's been dead/low for a while and likely what killed the main. I'll pull the passenger fender when I get the Jeep back and swap out that one.

I deleted the AUX battery. Well, it's still riding along in the Jeep but it's completely disconnected electrically.

The AUX battery tends to kill the main when it dies.

My jeep fun is about to start. Just got an insurance check from where I got hit. Instead of taking it to a shop for months, I'm fixing the bumper myself. Plus I have the leak...but I have warranty for that. Just need them to give me the schedule date.

UPDATE: I've had it back for a little over a week and have driven it quite a bit at various speeds and of course hitting plenty of the potholes on our roads now. No more shaking, so it seems like the diagnosis of the drag link was correct.

Replacing the Aux battery was pretty easy. 4 bolts and some tugging on the passenger fender to remove it. I actually struggled getting the side marker light harness disconnected more than anything else 🙂. I did crack a few of the clips, but not so bad that they don't work, plus the 4 bolts are really doing the attaching. Next time I have an order for Quadratec I'll add in some of their $2 clips and replace them.

Glad to hear you got the 'death wobble' successfully sorted. It's nice when a person closes the loop on their post so we can all learn. Safe travels!
