Looks good from the pictures, how's the fit and finish look in person. Enjoy your new 1911.

Nice gun. I don't normally go for fancy, but I could be tempted by that.  👍

I wasn't aware that Tisas had a place in Knoxville. Is it a distribution center or do they actually have a factory there?

Fit and finish is excellent, especially for a budget 1911.
I think it’s who imports them . SDS is the importer.

DANG!! That's Purdy!!

This Red Forman "Dumbass!" is ordering one now! LOL!

Wife's not gonna like me going back on my vow to not buy till I sold some! This might cause me some pain.

15 minutes later...

Well by cracky...ordered the faux ivory grips too! I'm in deep do-do now!

Tisas USA is the same company as SDS Imports, or technically the same people and address.  Based in Knoxville, “they” are the importer.  That’s why you see some marked SDS and some Tisas, such as this interesting model.

Just saw on Tisas website they have a voluntary recall on 5 of their 1911s in 45 and 10 caliber seem the hammer is following the slide forward.

Yeah I saw that. Looks like they all have the same skeleton hammer. Full auto 1911😲

I love this. But I just bought two new pistols last week.

@Gurn might be fun except for the tennis elbow from pulling the handle on the turret press.

Yes. I've had some experience with Tisas and like the product. I'd be hard pressed to say which is better betweeen Tisas and the upper class of Rock Island weapons.

Arrived at FFL. Will pick up next week.

Buyers remorse setting in. LOL. Looked at my safe and told myself I was an IDIOT for buying another 1911.

Gee, I don't know how I missed this.  I have zero use for another 1911 and yet I have an unreasoning desire for one of these.

Cheers,

Whisper
