There's one thing I love about packing for a move...

...and that's all the interesting stuff you find.

A bit ago, I pulled a decorative mug off a bookshelf and discovered that it contained 37 rounds of 9mm.

What is funny is when you don't remember how they got there.

I was cleaning the foyer closet and found where my girlfriend had put two Walmart bags with 600 rounds of .22lr, two boxes of .308, and 400 rounds of WWB .45 acp. Ever seen Chris Farley do a cartwheel? It was like that.

Good find. I'm looking forward to surprises like that when I clean out the garage and attic next week! :x:

I found about 15 knives this past week, a "this vehicle protected by smith and wesson" license plate, and untold amounts of absolute junk I'm not sure why I still own (presently in the process of moving, I'm terrified to get to the garage!)

LOL that is too funny . I was cleaning out the safe the other night and found a range bag that I had not used in a long time and found 100 rounds of 9mm. It is almost like finding GOLD!!!!!!!

What makes it so great is that I don't even own a 9mm any more. In fact, I haven't had one since before I moved out here to TN. So I'm forced to assume that when I was packing my stuff up back in Raleigh, I just went ahead and packed the mug with the ammo in it. Which is actually the same thing I did today.

Thus the cycle continues...

Well, when you get to where you're going, you need to go buy a new 9mm to shoot those through. HEY! It's a house warming gift to yourself!

Nah, next pistol purchase will be a 1911. Time to throw some flying ashtrays.
