keltec .32

I have had mine for over 10 yrs. and it is with my PF9, the lightest and most concealable gun ever made.

Most small concealable guns, have been flying off the shelves, since Obamahajie was elected, the only word of caution on all keltec pistols is, only buy the newest ones, which all now come in a hard plastic case.

A lot of the early ones had major probs. and keltec is always upgrading these guns!

Thanks nolo, but the damn .380 ammo is so hard to find right now...it irritates the CRAP outta me....kind of sad that I would worry about ammo before buying a gun....but...these days are different now....

Just get a Keltec PF-9, if you can find one, it handles all +P+ ammo!

Thats silly talk! If anybody actually compared the two side by side you would see there really isn't that much difference in the size.

Can you tell which ones which here?

The 380 is a little heavier,but thats a draw back to me considering the actual size of the round. A 32 being a little lighter gives better penetration.The bleed hole difference isn't really that big of a comparable.

Amen i chose a P32 over a P3AT because of the extra round capacity and the known reliability compared to all the P3AT posts i read at the kel-tec forums.

The gel tests show no real world difference and some of the 32 rounds actually can get close to 9mm range, and on average get better penetration on FMJ rounds then the .380.

I had a P-32. It never failed to fire or feed. I miss that little gun, too.

Early model, or late model, doesn't matter. I have a five year old p3at, had some problems, sent it to KT for some work, and it has been 100% ever since. If you get a good deal on a used one, go for it. If you have problems, KT has very good customer service.

kel-tec will tell you that one shouldn't feed the PF-9 a diet of +P ammo. you might shoot your eye out.

Never said to only use +P+ ammo, most guns should not use the +P+ on a reg. basis, but any Keltec can handle it!

When concealed must mean REALLY CONCEALED you can't beat a KT p3at or p32 (or the Ruger LCP - "little copy pistol").

I've got a Keltek .380 on order, but this thread got me thinking about the .32 pistol. I've seen some used .32's recently, and I've been waiting over 2 months for the .380 to come in, so I thought about changing my plan.

I got to thinking about price and availability of the .32 ammo, since .380 is so expensive and really scarce right now. I called Walmart and they said they get as much .32 as they do .380 - NONE. I asked their price on .32 target rounds and it was $18 for a box of 20! Almost a buck a round

I think I'll stick to my original plan.

Not the greatest gun or caliber, but they're not that bad. The plant burned last year, so there was a production lag. .32's are available, but .380's are scarce.

I bought a Kel-Tec P32 last summer. I've fired several hundred rounds through it of both solid and hollow points. So far I haven't had a single problem. It's been utterly reliable. And the size sure is nice for times when I can't easily carry something bigger. Around here they're getting pretty scare too. Some of the local stores always had 2 or 3 of them, even just a few months ago. But I haven't seen a single one in a case in the last 3 weeks. Go for it if you can find one.
