Tube tester and Vacuum Tubes. . Having to go down to Thrifty the day after your TV died to use their tube tester after you’d numbered and pulling all the tubes.

Anyone who worked retail in the early 80’s or before. Remember the weekly bank published books of bad credit cards that you had to look up manually. No slide and go. 
I remember thinking oh great, when I saw someone in line with their card out. Cash was still a thing back then.

I do love me some retro vibe, but that’s odd some commitment there!

I have 2 of them, 4ft and 7ft. Had the big one up this year. Use to take the small one to work and put it on the table for the ‘kids’ 😄
