Cable Box with a rotary knob/dial
(and flipping that rotary dial back and forth quickly to try to catch a glimpse of a channel you did not have!) 🙂

I never saw one of those. I was still using a antenna for the three channels we got and going outside to turn the antenna when changing channels.

I'm setting here thinking and I own a 3 on the tree, 2 4s in the floor, a 4 in the floor with a 2 speed split stick rearend, a motorcycle with 2 wheels (not 3 😁) and a push button automatic. 🤔  Im just realizing I love variety no matter the hobby lol

Some may have this with remote acreage, but the idea of not just turning on the faucet would be foreign too many

We had Green Stamps when I was a kid. I remember the IGA Foods near my house always had a display set up w/ empty books and a big catalog tied down on a cord to look at to see what you'd buy.

I remember being dragged to Bowling Green by my mother and her mother to go get stuff with them. I wasn’t real impressed with that store.

Vacumn operated windshield wipers. Start up a hill under a load and wipers stopped. Good stuff. Lol

They’d make up for it coasting off the next hill!

Still had three pedals no matter where the gear lever was located.

Learned to drive in a 65 Chevy C10. Straight 6, 3 on the tree.

Don't forget the choke! I learned in a 66 GMC pickup that my Dad bought brand new. It stayed in the family through 4 kids and 2 engines, big ol 305 V6.

I have a couple of these if anyone needs one. I also have a car  8 Track player new in the box and a couple dozen tapes.  The things you keep when you clean out your parent's house.  I did throw out 3 or 4 dozen 8 track tapes I only kept the good ones. 🙂

Absolutely.  Also, they won't know how to read law the way dad taught me, using these old things:20240131_202904.thumb.jpg.51fae013f2d1ba208121b0d61449d5c6.jpg

Oh man, more importantly... they won't know how aggravating it is when someone asks you for a cigarette and then immediately after you give him one, asks you for a light.
