.444 Marlin

I am about to start loading some custom rounds for my Marlin. Anyone have experience with this round? I am not able to find brass locally but Midway has some nickel plated brass. I found dies locally, if they are not crazy high then I am good. Anyway I have the Lee reloading manual and will start from there. Any input on this round?

Wish I could help....Wish I had one to reload! THe .444 marlin is a bad sum beeech. Under-appreciated, forgotten, it is a bad boy. An older gentleman I used to know (RIP) that was one of the finest gunsmiths I have ever known, had a Finnish Mosin rechambered to .444. THat was a beautiful gun.

Good luck with your loading. You have a killer cartridge that's certainly worth the effort of reloading.
