Gold Dot Carry Gun ammo

I recently discovered that Speer makes a Gold Dot round specifically designed for compact pistols called Caary Gun. Has anyone ever used this and if so, does it seem to qoek better than the standard God Dot ammo? I was wondering if it improves the velocity difference with a shorter barrel. I was looking to get some for my Shield Plus 9mm. Thanks.

Speer makes a Short Barrel ammo just for this purpose. I have several boxes of 50 but have not purchased anything lately. I have used it and it works fine. I was using  CCI 22 Mag ammo in my 3" brl pistol. At 15 ' I was getting unburned powder splatter on my target, when I fired. Purchased the Speer Gold Dot Short Barrel version of 22 Mag ammo, and it seemed all the powder burned, and I never had unburned powder splatting on my down range target any longer. It worked to solve that problem.
