Warm Weather EDC

Recommended Posts

Don't know about you guys and dolls, but I have to change my warm weather wardrobe pretty drastically. When I switch over from Cords and Sweaters to Dockers and Polo shirts, my arsenal has to change also.

The Stainless Steel J Frames (640 and 60) along with their IWB and OWB holsters and .38 +P ammo goes into the Gun Safe and the Airweights (642 and 637) along with their pocket holsters and .38 standard pressure ammo come out to play. My 317 .22LR "trainer" gets it's winter Pachmayrs switched out for UM "Boots" to match the EDC trigger pull and grip more closely. Does anybody else go into this much of a "Change of the Guard?"

See the "Boys of Summer" below.

Well my economic situation being as it is... I've got one gun to carry. That's it, that's all.

I do vary the method of carry. From OWB in the winter to IWB in the summer...

Nice looking "boys" BTW.

XD year round, .38 snub for those quick trips to grab a gallon of milk. If I am at work, I dress the same year round. If it is on the weekend, I usually have jeans or cargo pants in winter, or cargo shorts in the summer with polo/tshirt (just about year round for the polo and tshirt) I have a pull over fleece for cold weather.

My carry has been a full size in a OWB most of the time. When necessary I have a compact that I carry IWB cross draw. I find myself taking that more and more due to comfort and concealabity. A little less power and capacity beats bringing nothing at by a long shot.... #1 rule of a gunfight...have a gun. I'm saving up for an EMP and once I can swing that I think I will carry it every day...may varry the method but keep just 1 carry gun.
