Class act.

Growing up Cale, Richard Petty and David Pearson were my heroes. I got to meet them at an event in Daytona Beach. I was an even bigger fan after that. They signed everything I had. Talked to me like I was there best friend. Left an impression that will never be forgotten. Heroes that were bigger in person than in my imagination. 

RIP Cale.

I remember him being on an episode of Dukes of Hazzard when I was in maybe second grade.

My dad and I spent many a weekend in the 70’s and 80’swatching WINSTON CUP racing.
