Cutting off holster

I have desantis holster that fits S&W compacts 5903, 5904, 5906,5924 5926 etc I have a cs 45 it fits the holster fine but there is about an inch of unused holster because of the 3" barrel would it be possible for some one to cut off and restitch it ? without ruining it like a shoe shop. or should I just live with or sell it CS45 holsters aren't easy to find and I like this holster

I dunno man? I'd say it's more trouble than it's worth. If it were me, I'd live with it, as long as the gun fit well, and it was comfortable to wear.

Plug the bottom and you can stash M&Ms or cashews in the void.:D

I know what you're saying the stitching doesn't serve a purpose except for looks and the length would help with concealabilty I certainly don't want to ruin a good holster

Not a professional by any means but I believe me personally, I would leave it be. To much trouble going the other route. Good luck and God Bless.

upon further inspection M&M and cashews may be the best route. the plastic between layers of leather might cause problems o well looked like a good idea at the time

Do like the rest of us. Just keep buying guns until you find one that fits your holster just right. Problem solved!:biglol:
