I’m currently finishing season 5 of House of Cards. I’m planning to follow it up with The West Wing, then Veep to lighten things up a little.

I haven’t finished those other shows, but I started streaming Paradise on Hulu today.  I was expecting an action thriller, but this appears to be so much more.

Everything seemed too pristine, and by the end of the first episode we find out why.  I think this will be a good watch.

I started watching Severance, pretty interesting. I assumed it was a comedy based on Ben Stiller’s involvement, so I was a little shocked when I realized it was a sci-fi thriller.

Took my son to see Sonic 3 this past weekend, it was really good.

Never really liked Billy Bob that much, but I think it was the roles. I liked Landman. His character cracks me up. I just had to keep reminding myself the actress playing the daughter is like 27. If you watched it, you know what I mean.

Started watching Lioness Season 2. Pretty good 1st episode.

Throw the TV in a dumpster and read

I read sir! You’re making an uninformed assumption! Maybe you would consider starting a thread about book suggestions.  I’m certain many of us here would indulge you.

Meanwhile, do you have a movie or t.v. show to suggest in this thread? Otherwise, you’re just seeking unnecessary attention.

I don't watch TV or movies so can't recommend anything

I already made it through the first three episodes and waiting on the new one. When I started watching it, I mainly just want to know what happen to the wife now.

I recently watched Shogun (the new version) and it made me go re-read the book (it’s been 30 or so years).  The book took a little longer than the show, but I’ve never been a fast reader.  My dad read Shogun and Rise and Fall of the Third Reich in two or three days each.  My daughter got his reading DNA.  He liked his TV too, though.

"Back in Action" with Cameron Diaz and Jamie Foxx was pretty good. Its one of those that is not believable, but you just disconnect and enjoy the comedy and action.

This movie had lots of good stunts.
