If you’re a nerd like me, you’ll like Big Bang Theory, if you liked that, Young Sheldon was surprisingly wonderful (especially Annie Potts as MeeMaw).  There is a new spinoff called Georgies & Mandy’s first Marriage.  I haven’t seen it yet, but it sounds good.

None of these are art, just stupid fun.

I've been watching Escape from Dannemora on Netflix. It is like an 8-episode series has kept me watching if you need something to add to the watchlist, good actors but definitely not kid friendly.

Finally got around to giving "Three Body Problem" a try. So fatr the first season has been well worth the time. Looking forward to season 2.

Yellowstone, tonight.

Already have my DVR, or whatever it's called these days, set and ready to watch and record! 🙂

Definitely a big Taylor Sheridan fan and have high hopes for this last season.

Watched "Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny" tonight on Disney+, wife even enjoyed it. That is last years Indy movie did a great job of computer modifying his age in parts of the movie to make him young again.  Had a lot of the feel of the original.

American Primeval on Netflix is better than Horizon: An American Saga - Chapter 1.

Good, I will have to add it to the watchlist. Costner's movie wasn't bad but definitely could have been better. I watched Tank on Netflix last night, haven't seen that since I was a kid.

I picked up HBO Max for a month for the 1st round of the College Football Playoff games. That meant I finally got to watch The Last of Us and really enjoyed it. Last night I finished The Penguin. If you liked The Batman movie (Robert Pattinson), you'll like this. If you didn't like The Batman, you probably won't like this. It starts where the movie ended.

I enjoyed The Last of Us and Penguin, but I didn’t care for Pattinson’s Batman.

Started watching Landman last night, and I'm really enjoying it. It's another Taylor Sheridan (Yellowstone) series, staring Billy Bob Thorton.

Speaking of Billy Bob, his series Goliath from a few years ago was pretty good.

Watching Goliath right now.   Billy Bob in Landman may be his best role as far as what you would think he is like in real life.  It cracks me up every episode.

Tommy Norris’ job in Landman reminds me of my job somewhat, minus the fistfights and bodies.  His character cracks me up.

On a side note, the plot of all of Taylor Sheridan’s shows lately seems to be how many F-bombs each character can squeeze into a paragraph.

Landman was pretty darn good. I can always tell how much I like a show when I watch the last episode and realize I have to wait God knows how long on the next one and it makes me feel angry and sad.

This new season of Lioness was even better than the first one. Several times the shootouts put me in mind of Sicario. Huge shoes to fill, but almost as good.

I loved both seasons of Lioness.  Hope it stays good!

The Diplomat is pretty good too. Too many parelells to last four years and a few snide comments about a past president who is not named but obviously Trump, but still really good despite this. Think there’s 2 seasons so far on Netflix, and I’m almost done with season one so far.

I just finished The Agency on Paramount+. I thought it was pretty good, not great. I’m about halfway through season 1 of The Diplomat. I’m enjoying it so far.
