Just the three? Well, I guess we can bend the rules and let you have a basic membership. You'll have to do better if you want to upgrade to platinum club:D:D:D J/K

I have had 2 M1 carbines, both were clunkers. I'd really like to have a good one. What kind do you have?

Winchester 53 I think...

My mom is a manager for a bunch of apartment complexes. They were cleaning an apartment that someone had abandoned and found in the wall a barreled receiver with a smashed up stock. Bought a new stock and it shoots like a beauty!.

The Mosin nagants are awesome for the money and as the previous posted said if you can find a k98 they are hard to beat Classic Arms had some of these the last time I checked on their website and are a good source of ammo for these type weapons. . .and I think most are C&R eligible

At the risk of sounding completely dumb, what is The Outpost being mentioned? Is it a local place or an online shop?

My 1943 M91/30 is a tack driver. It is an Izhevsk, and while not as accurate as some M39 Finn rifles, It will shoot 3-4 MoA at 100yds with Irons. I do this with the rear site set at 200m. When I first got it, it shot pretty high, so switched out the front sight with a nail, and took a file to the range working it down a lil at a time. 7.62 is plentiful and cheap, 440 rounds for 100 bucks.

I used denatured alcohol to strip the shalack off and rubbed it with a finishing pad. Add a little lindeed oil, and now shes a looker.

Get one, I paid 109 out the door

__ get a limb saver recoil pad in the small size and you can go through 200 rounds no problem.

I'll take some pics when I get home this afternoon.

The front sight drifts off with a punch and hammer. once off, the sight post falls out. I used a refinishing nail (cut it to size) which sat in the base where the front sight was and drifted it back on. I had tried the electrical wire wrap trick, but wanted something more durable.

Yes, pics would be great.

I picked up a 1930 Hex model at the Outpost and stripped it down and gave it a natural look.DSCN4765.JPG
