The power to enforce laws is vested in the people. We grant that power to our police agencies, but do not relinquish it. We always have the right and the power to defend ourselves. Doing so is not a vigilanty action.

If you look at most of the comments you can tell they are pretty liberal. I know this is silly, but it kinda reminds me of the Batman cartoon the way they were always after him because he was a "vigilante" even though he was protecting them and the city.

I think liberals don't have dictionaries and are quite unsure of what a "vigilante" is.
