Laid Off

Just want to vent a little. I got laid off 2 week ago. I was one of the unlucky ones that worked at ALCOA. I hate to, but I'm thinking about going back Over The Road but people nowadays want recent driving experience even though I drove OTR for years but it's been a while back.

One thing that ticks me off a little about this is our illustrious President at ALCOA that shut us down isn't even American. He's German. This is our world economy at work.

I feel for you man. I was laid off from jan. 12 to just a week ago.

It sucks. Hang tough. You will have other opportunities that you might not have pursued had you not been laid off.

Everything happens for a reason.

I know how ya feel. I have been looking for something to do on the side. I work for the biggest printing company in the world and I have been laid off 10 weeks give or take now. I just got the call to come back in Monday but it probably wont last.
