So, since things seem to have slowed down a bit and everyone is all serious, I tohughI'd find out how "fun" everyone is.

What is the wierdest--or funnest--thing you have ever shot at?

I've just stuck with cans, so I;m pretty boring. I have heard of people shooting TVs, and saw a video fo some idiots shooting unopened coke cans (making a cool explosion, and the super cool shrapnel that'll cause a large hole in you!)

We used to get these little foam stress reliever/squeezer thingies at work that were shaped like little photocopiers. You hit them with a .223 round and they fly spectacularly. :D

Awesome! I hear charcoal briquettes make a nice little poof when shot by pretty much anything.

Yeah, the youtubers were, I;m guessing, drunk.

"Hey! Bob! I get this'll explode real good if you shoot it with your shotgun!"

"Cool! Let;s try it!"

*Some setup time later*

"Alright, let 'er rip!"

*bang!*

"THAT WAS AWE-wait, what's this shiny thing sticking out of my leg?"

*That was made up dialogue, not from any Youtube video, or real life action. I hope.*

I normally use plain old carboard with some circles drawn on it. I used to have bunch of old beer posters, the kind with hot girls on them, you know the kind. They were great as basically the models were life size. Golf balls are one of my fav's as when you hit them they tend to jump around a bit.

Anything interactive is fun to shoot. I never shoot glass as then I have to clean it up.

Glass alternative is ice. IT explodes and then melts. If it's hot ut, it forces you to speed up your target aquisition and firing, as it gets smaller every moment.

.....That had to be AWESOME.

Cats!!!!!:D

One of the most interactive targets there is. PETA would have a fit, but they are pests at times.

shoot at old computer hard drives.

I have heard about shooting them before, what is the special attraction?

Satisfaction, revenge, relief, etc...:D

I have shot Apples, Oranges, a couple of pumpkins, and some potatos

before. Pretty neat. (All had started going bad.)

I like to shoot at old computer hard drives.

I second that! Especially since I have a lifetime supply of useless hardware.

I've shot a lot of weird things in my day. I have a friend with some land and if we come across anything for free our first thought is "Hey, lets shoot at it!"

Some of the more notable targets have been a few old pianos and a jeep pickup truck. The original Xbox is virtually bullet proof and stopped every pistol round we fired at it.

I would have taken that XBOX off your hands if you hadn't shot it up.

Though, supposedly a gamecube is supposed to be sturdier.

None wuit big enough where I live. There was a huge one in the bathroom, but then I'd put a hole in the wall. I still killed it, just not that way.

Which reminds me, my uncle mentioned that they spend spare time shooting at camel spiders.

that reminds me of a time when we had a kid that always went to sleep on guard duty while we were training in the field...we booby trapped his rucksack with an orange and a 3sec. grenade fuse.

we kicked him awake and he jumped up, grabbed his pack and was trying to get it on when the orange blew up..

he had to wear that orange ALL day long.

:D

lets see...weirdest thing I've ever shot at....

aside from people? Ummm I guess a 5 ton truck, a t-55 tank, and an egyptian Personnel carrier.

The xbox was completely dead as a result of a burst water pipe. It seemed like a good way to send it off.

Well, aside from coke cans and old shotgun shells, I did manage to chop a tree down once using the M1A.:yuck:
