Kids hunting Sheds

The North American Hunting Association sent this email to me, and I thought it was kind of funny and decided to share with you guys.

Trick Your Kids Into Looking For Shed Antlers

Face it, as holiday icons go, the Easter Bunny is pretty lame. Cupid can fly and shoots a bow—instinctive no less!—and Santa has a bachelor group of flying record-book bucks, but what does Mr. Bunny have to offer? Not much, especially if you're having trouble fitting into your

camo Wranglers.

Even so, your kids love him because he hides plastic Easter eggs filled with candy. And here's where you can use Bunnyman to your advantage: Tell your kids—heck, tell your kids to tell everyone on the block—that he has hidden Easter eggs throughout some of the white-tailed deer bedding cover and prime feeding sources on your local hunting property.

Rent a

Suburban if you have to, but take the little candy-lovers on a field trip. And right before you turn them loose (with adult supervision of course), show them a couple shed antlers from your collection.

Then make a deal: For every shed antler returned to the truck, they'll receive a dozen candy bars of their choice.

To really make a haul this spring on sheds,

forward this newsletter to your buddies and hit the woods with help.
