HCP Class Question

I'm getting ready to go through my HCP class. What score is required on the range/shooting portion of the test? Is it still 70%? Thanks!

yes 70%. Should not be a problem, especially since it appears you have shot before, by your pic.

70 % is correct. 12 each from 3, 7, and 15 yards are mandatory. 12 more from distances at the instructor's discretion.

My instructor had us do head shots with our final 6 rounds. Probably because no one was really in danger of failing.

If you have shot much at all you will probably get 100%. If it makes you feel better, you can qualify with a .22. You should, of course, make sure you are proficient with what you will be carrying before you carry it though :D

Thanks guys! I'll be taking my Sig P6 through with me. I'm pretty accurate with it, so here's hoping I'll pass. I'll be out on the range come Saturday!
