This is a pretty rare bird... If I remember right, the transition from " N " to "ABC " happened with this model.  We have his brother in the safe with the "ABC " type S/N designation...

They went from a N prefix in the serial number to 3 letter prefixes. Re: ABCXXXXX

So just the prefix changed it’s still on the N frame this is not a frame change correct thanks for information  ABC  more valuable or no difference

"S" Prefix transitioned into the "N" prefix in late 60's.

The " ABC " thing is the transition from the " N " frame first serial  designator beginning with " N " to the alpha numeric S/N designation...
