Hey thanks for the Link. That is a cool site

Yeah, it's pretty cool. There was one made in the 70's i think and than Magpul made one and then stated the would never produce it! I guess it was just to see if they could!:-\ Modern Firearms - Ares FMG / folding submachine gun

Welcome to 15 months ago....

Come on Joe ease up on him, remember not everyone gets to go to the SHOT Show and see all the new tacticool stuff.

Hey? Thanks, I just noticed that condescending remark.

So according to dude, after 15 months a firearm is out of date so he gives deep discounts on it. Like the Kroger does out dated milk? I doubt it.

My point was that the Magpul FMG-9 was blasted all over the internet (to include this forum) last year.

It was also forwarded by millions via email, and I assumed that by now EVERYONE had seen this.

But yeah, the FMG is pretty cool.

We played with it when it was first introduced.

When it was shown at SHOT in Jan 08, there were no intentions of actually producing it, nor are there plans now to offer it for sale.

This thread is actually the result of FIVE different threads being merged into one:

Joe,

I was reading that old thread(s) and I had to chuckle at the "Glock in a box" comment. If you ever saw the old Saturday night live skit with Justin Timberlake where he sings about something else being in a box you'll get why that made me laugh. If you haven't seen it send me a PM lol

So are those Hera conversion here in the US?

Just in case anyone else was wondering what the Hera conversion looked like (had to google it myself):
