Senate is meeting on the carry bills now

I'm not as quick as some of the posters here on government double speak so I'm not going to be doing a play by play, but it sounds pretty good for us

I'm having player problems, no vid or sound...

I had to install the Win media player for firefox to get it to play, nothing was working in Internet Explorer. They've pushed the bill back to give the sponsor time to review some of the changes...now they're talking about the courts budget.

I can't imagine staying awake in one of these meetings.

This is what I downloaded for Firefox and it works fine

ON MARCH 30, 2009, THE HOUSE ADOPTED AMENDMENT #1 AND RESET HOUSE BILL 962, AS AMENDED.

AMENDMENT #1 revises the provision whereby this bill applies only if the establishment is not a venue restricted to persons age 21 or older to instead specify that the authorization does not apply:

(1) At such times the restaurant is age-restricted to persons age 18 or older; and

(2) Between the hours of 11:00p.m. and 5:00 a.m.

ON APRIL 6, 2009, THE HOUSE FURTHER CONSIDERED HOUSE BILL 962, AS AMENDED BY HOUSE AMENDMENT #1, AND PASSED HOUSE BILL 962, AS AMENDED.

Now if someone can translate from politician speak...

I guess they kept the damn restrictions, only reworded it to be a bit more confusing
