Hail and Well Met.  Likely not here much but sometimes irritate when I am.  Apologies in advance.

From Central VA, visiting TN soon.

Question-- wife wants to visit the Craftsmen's Fair in Gatlinburg.

https://craftsmenfair.com/

Carry permitted?  Covered?  Open?  Deep cover?

I see nothing either way on the website.

Thanks!

Hey man, welcome and sorry no one has spoke up. I don't know specifically about this venue, you may need to call them or something. Maybe a Gatlinburg or area resident will chime in. If I were going over from the couple hours away where I live, I'd probably tuck my LCP Max in my pocket and go. Worst case, truck it back to the car and stick it away.

I'm not sure if the Gatlinburg CC is posted; I am pretty sure they don't have doorway metal detectors.

If they're not wanding, concealed is concealed.

I am NOT suggesting walking past or not noticing "thou shall not carry signs," but we all must make our own decisions.

Thanks Gents.

The nice thing about VA, if the sign says no carry, you are basically trespassing and have an opportunity to leave no problem when asked or questioned about carrying.  So it not a real concern if you print or cover not quite enough.

Went yesterday.  In and out in about 90 minutes, walking slow.  No purchases.

Carried, covered, no questions, no signs, no problems.

So may I recommend hitting Buds Guns and Smoky Mountain Knife Works, both in Sevierville, next to each other and right off of I40 at x407?

Been there before, Several times, Going again this trip.

If you are from other areas, I can recommend a nice 3 bedroom cabin weekly rental in Gatlinburg if anyone is interested.  Might find a bear in the backyard if you leave the trash outside.
