As long as we aren't drinking, or breaking the law, we should be allowed to carry anywhere we are asked not to.

I don't understand what the curfew would do.

A buddy of mine owns a restaurant and he carries. Would they prosecute him for carrying in his own business as he is there until closing, after midnight?

I have been told, the person responsible for the business can carry, even a business serving alcohol.

I just feel for the poor souls working in places at closing.

I did as a teenage kid and was blessed to have never been involved in the times places of work were robbed.

This was discussed at some point, and if I recall correctly, the owner has the right to carry and protect his property without restriction.

The owner can also designate someone on site to carry, there was some debate about whether they had to have a security license, but not sure of what was figured out on that one.

Short version - Yes, it will... but it has to be passed by the Senate first.

Longer version - Yes. Today's action was to put the bill in a form (by offering amendments which will be added to the bill on the Senate floor) that the Senate will discuss and vote on. The next step is for the bill to be placed onto a floor calendar for an upcoming Senate session. That is done in the Senate Calendar committee. When the bill is passed by the full Senate, if it is in a different form than as passed by the House, they will undoubtedly wind up in a conference committee to work out the differences.

Nevermind, answered in another thread..
