Slide milling for 1911 platform?

Looking for a reputable place in Tennessee that can mill my WC EDC X9 for a DeltaPoint Pro without destroying it obviously. WC has a 6 month lead time right now.

My answer is pretty much the same as before:  A Wilson Combat EDC X9 is not a cheap gun and not one I'd trust to just anyone.  I would get on Wilson Combat's wait list and let them handle it.

I have someone I’d recommend for pretty much anything. He’s done a lot of work for me including some excellent customization on multiple BHPs. I’d still get on the Wilson waitlist if I were in your shoes.

Your best bet is to let Wilson Combat do it, or contact NightHawk Custom, they work on other guns but not sure if their Optic Cut is for their own design.

Would it work out to about the same price to just buy a new optics-ready EDC X9 and then sell yours?  That would alleviate the problem of being without a gun, and would ensure that you get one done correctly by Wilson Combat.
