I have 4 Bigfoot belts-all steel lined-14 and 18 oz-great quality at a very good price-

Great are they comfortable being steel core  and would I need a 18 oz for something like a colt commander  How do they hold up do you get 1 year or 5  before they need replacement thanks

My son got me a Kore Essentials for Christmas, LOVE it. It's a dress belt style so perfect for a suit... After 8 months of carrying every day, it's still looks and feels new

Good luck with your decision

Get my belts from Beltman. Great quality. I don't know if you can wear them out. The right belt makes all the difference carrying.

Thanks I will be ordering one  did you like 1.5 because it has more support than 1.25 I will be wearing dress pants and a Colt commander will it offer enough support  thanks. again for all the info

I don't remember why I chose 1.5 but seems like I talked with them about it.  I wore dress pants and dockers for years and it worked great with any gun I put on it.

Go with a good brand that is polymer lined.   Aker makes a good one and the 1.25 will support anything.

Ok, I know I'm an oddball...but not really happy with the Hanks belt I ordered. Lomg story and not worth telling. I am very intrigued by the comments you made TripleGGG about Beltman and been looking at the site for a bit. Thinking of ordering one.

My concern is that I've dropped almost 4'' on my belt size and plan to go further. So a little questionable about what sice/length belt to order. I think my best bet is to call and talk with them. Think a little name-dropping might help? After all, your rep should get me something!

If you’re losing weight, I might suggest Kore.  I’ve got 2, one for casual and one for dress. Had them about a year now and am very happy with them. The reason I suggest that for you is, aside from the great support they provide, they are infinitely trimmable. As a matter of fact, the way you trim is from the attached buckle side of the belt, so the part you trim is always hidden by the buckle. I’m sure I’m not describing it right, but it works well. Only issue I’ve had is mine can be a tight fit thru some of my dress pants belt loops, but they do go thru.

Another vote for the KORE belt. Its a ratchet belt, so small adjustments are easy and fast. And they come very long, made to cut to size yourself. You could keep it long and cut as you need. Plus, as you  cut it, you are using a new section so the ratchets dont wear out.  I dont even use the gun belt, just their regular belt.  Which works great for a 380 and 9mm.  Just got a new one actually, the first lasted 5 years and they are only about $40.

They offer shortening the belt as you lose weight for a fee or at least they used to. Calling would be best.

Dropping my name will carry as much weight as a dead possum. Lol.

A quality double layer belt will last for years…long after you get tired of looking at it. Stiffeners might help, but are not necessary in my opinion.

I agree. Kore Essentials is my favorite everyday carry belt. Love the incremental adjustment.

I have a Kore , I got at my LGS. It’s my favorite belt so far. I like the minor , quick and easy adjustments you can make with it. I have a Hanks belt , but it seems like it’s softened up over time. Not much better if any than a belt I had made that a Omish man made for me for about $20 while I stood there and watched him make it.

I am also a pretty big fan of the Kore and have been using mine for two years now. I couple buddies made some jokes about the clicking noise while tightening the belt but the ability for small increment changes in size is great.

I have been wearing Core for over a year. 1-for work and every day wear and 1- for Sunday / wear real cloths   Love both of them. And as stated. Very adjustable

I’m a little late to the party here, but I have had the executive belt from crossbreed holsters for two years now and love it. Very sturdy and doesn’t look tacticool.
