FN Reflex

FN has entered the high-capacity micro-compact 9mm market with the 11 round Reflex.  It  fires using an internal hammer.

I’m liking what I see about it.

Thoughts?  Has anyone laid hands on one yet?

My sister just got one.  First outing at the range was not encouraging -- many failures to feed.  She's going to tear it down, lube it thoroughly, and try again.

NRA magazine article gushed positively about it. It sounded promising but end user actual experience trumps all. Curious to hear if @Whispersister has a better report after a clean & lube. Not a great start.

Hammer fired is nice.  Don't see a trigger blade type safety nor a manual safety on the frame.  Wonder how it works out for cc?

She couldn't get it to run, and it's been sent back to FN.  Not an encouraging beginning.  I'll report back when I learn more.

I have been drooling over this pistol since I heard about it. I put hands on one and love the feel. I was hoping to see some good hands on reviews. What I’ve read and seen on YouTube, it seems like a good little firearm. People have had issues out of the 365 and it’s still a top seller. Guess we’ll see what happens with it.

New update from my sister:  The gun is back from FN, who says they couldn't find anything wrong with the gun.  It still doesn't work.  FN suggested trying different kinds of ammo.  Neither my sister nor her husband can get it to cycle reliably, so I don't think the problem is limp-wristing or anything like that.

I note that there's a Reddit thread on FN Reflex failures to feed:

Teething problems w/new guns is common. Seems like FN will eventually figure out the glitch w/feeding. Then I might be interested. I'll wait for now. Thanks for the info @Whisper
