New to Tennessee- Lebanon

Hello from the new residence in Lebanon, TN. I recently moved to TN from Maryland-- this part of our life plan had been in the hopper for quite some time--many years. My son lives in Portland, TN and my wife has a sister in Galatin for some 30 years. I retired from 31 years of military service in 2010, went on to work for DoD for another ten and a half years --retired at the end of 2022. We're looking forward to a much less restrictive 2A environment here in TN than in Maryland and will do our part to keep it that way.

My wife and I hold carry permits from Maryland, Pennsylvania (me), and Arizona (her) and I have applied for the CCW permit here in Tennessee. Our 26 yr old daughter w/Down Syndrome resides at home with us. My wife and daughter have yet to move from Maryland but will join me sometime in within the next 12 months--until then I am a geographical bachelor w/some time on my hands to learn the area and prepare the homestead for their eventual arrival.   

There is a very active 2A community of patriots in Maryland and we are proud to be counted among their number through financial support of MSI (Maryland Shall Issue) gun rights organization and the Maryland Shooters gun forum community. We look forward to supporting the TN 2A community as needed as well. Looking forward to our new life in Tennessee---

I think it was you who posted the link to this site on MDShooters?  Similar situation here but no family in TN.  Former military and was working in the DC area.  Wife and I have been planning our escape for a while and just closed on a house in DIckson County.
