Canik Rival S Chrome

I have the dark side- really like it.  Good heft which really aids double taps.  So far super reliable. Will probably make my game M&Ps spend more time in the safe

I dont have what you are looking for but I have the TP9SF and TP9DA . Those pistols are top notch and "Glock 17" reliable. Their triggers will make some high end guns look bad.

Why does anyone want a chrome pistol?

It looks nice!

Why does anyone want a black pistol?

longevity...resistance to show wear.  Otherwise, beauty is in the eye of the beholder

Even automobiles started dumping chrome back in the late 80’s

I wish it was stainless and I would not be having this discussion. 🤣
All I’m really asking is if the gun is worth a ####.

It is stainless-ish color.  A real hard chrome finish on guns usually comes in satin or polished, but neither is car bumper chrome.  I think the Rival-S frame is cerakoted.

If you see a Rival-S black or chrome, I would grab it - they are kinda hard to find.  I’ve shot a couple and was highly impressed.  They are not as tacti-cool as others if that’s ypur preference, but they are definite shooters straight out of box and a better value than several other recently hyped guns.

Apparently the frame is stainless.  Unclear what the slide actually is made of.

So will Holosun announce a "Chrome Red Dot"?  That should bend a few minds.

Don't even start me on the "Dark Side" finish and what lasers go with it.  🤣

I have a CZ TS 2 Orange, does it even compare?

Probably not, but the TS2O is a lot more expensive.

A quick glance at GB has Rival-S guns for $1300 or so.  Back in the spring, they were $900 locally.  At $900 I would grab one, but $1300 is too much.

Fool that I am...I passed by a Rival soon after hearing of it. Very big mistake! Finding one, and getting "fair" price on it is getting harder to do.

As far as the "chrome" finish...Oh Yes! I'd take one. I'm a big Canik fan. Have been for years. Was trolling for them here all along. lol. But really guys, the Canik line is amazing. I have a very hard time with chosing between Walther and Canik.

Recently got a 22 mag Walther, but...I must admitit; I think the Canik SF line has Walther beat. Now if Canik comes out with a 22 mag...Lord I'm in BIG trouble!
