Folks, I'm contemplating getting rid of the Reviews System and just encouraging people to post reviews of things inside their respective forums in the message areas.

It seems that we already have a split going on right now with some reviews being put in the Reviews system and others being put in the forums. Frankly, I don't feel like the Reviews System has ever taken off the way I had originally thought it might and it may just be time to put it out to pasture.

Thoughts?

Personally, it doesn't matter to me. I would think that if there is extra work and few responses, do away with it.

I don't think many know that it exists or even where to find it.

Maybe a little promotion would help?

I like the reviews. Like jwp said maybe it just needs some promoting.

Biggest limitation for me, and reason I haven't done some, is lack of being able embed images in body of the review.

But I'm kinda "web page" oriented on wanting to format.

I voted remove it just because it seems like most people forget it's there. I've always been aware of it, but honestly never think to use it.
