Grip Module Cerokoting

Is there a middle Tennessee facility that does good quality cerokoting?  I'm interested in having my P-365 Macro cerokoted.  Does anyone know how well cerokote holds up on a non-metal pistol grip module?

When applied correctly it will hold up just fine for average use. Heavy use/in and out of a holster continuously will start showing wear on the trigger guard (assuming that is the point of retention). Companies like Lipsey’s will use Cerakote on some of their special edition pistols. They seem to hold up well with average use, but again with heavy use I’d leave it alone or see if the company offers a color close that the polymer is made from that colors pellets. Good luck in your search.

Cerakote holds okay on polymer frames. I don’t think I will ever mess with another one though.  It was kind of costly to just have it look worn after a year. Something I wish I would have tried is taking it back to black using Rit Dye when it showed heavy wear.

I've been doing professional Cerakote for 12 years in my San Diego shop. I agree with all the above - a good finish but it will eventually wear in the high spots. One extra caution is that many Cerakote applicators don't know how to handle polymer, and they will either under-bake it (low quality finish) or over-bake it (kills the color, or worse, destabilizes the polymer and ruins the frame).
