I'm a poor all around shot, so it's difficult to tell :hat:, but I seem to be a little more accurate with XD 4" 9mm than with my EDC, XD 3".

It would be logical to think so, anyway...

Doesn't much matter at 7 yards, though.

You know what they say... an inch ain't much unless it's hanging off the end of a barrel or your... err... well, you get the point.

I honestly do not have a favorite. I kind of look at them like my kids or grandkids.

I do from time to time feel more interest in shooting one over another.

(to clarify I mean shooting one of the kids over another :screwy:)

Like this weekend. I have not shot my left handed bolt rifle in forever. Took it out yesterday, yanked the scope off of it. Shot it yesterday a little to get the iron sights lined up again. Today took it out in the big hayfield and shot it at 150 yards.

Tons of fun. Before that my favorite was the XD45. Don't know what next week will bring.

And I don't shoot any of them particularly well. but I was able to hit a frisbee sized target regularly with that .22 today. From ten feet on in, all the handguns will hurt a badguy.

Interesting how your most accurate hand gun may not be your favorite.

My Sig P6 is the most accurate pistol I own. However, my favorite is the Kahr PM9 because I carry it the most.

My most accurate is also my P6. I've got deadly aim with that thing.

Took me a while to figure it out but I found my favorite .45 just "felt" right in my hand like an extension. I did my best to make the grip feel exactly like it on my compensated one-holer and life has been good ever since.

Most production handguns are more accurate than you are. I think you mean that the gun you like the best isn't always the gun you shoot the best.

Are we talking "good quality SD ammo" or your "WallyWorld special (ie Blazer Brass)??????

That makes a difference for me.

Most accurate by hand, not benched, is my Kimber Pro Carry with Hornaday ammo.....

My most accurate by hand, not benched, with WallyWorld "range" ammo is my Glock 19.....

Yet I carry my Glock 26........accurate enough for SD purposes and has a great range life for years of play. Two packages in one......:P

I don't keep hand guns around that I can't shoot well after giving them a fair shake. It annoys me too much if I can't duplicate my accuracy with my CZ. Therefor my CZ75 is my favorite, my EDC and what I use as a benchmark for anything else I shoot.

Correct. I frequently see folks confuse what the the OP's statement and what they meant to say as you illustrate below.

Most production handguns are more accurate than you are. I think you mean that the gun you like the best isn't always the gun you shoot the best.
