I did a search and only seemed to find one reference to HCP holders who are pro musicians and on the road (or in the studio).

So i know many would not want to 'out' themselves too much... but i'd love to connect with like minded (ie.. gun carrying) musicians who have to figure out the day to day of the tour bus and fly dates.

I currently play with a Warner Bros artist (amongst other bits and pieces) and one other band member carries when possible.

Anyone wanna connect openly or via PM? heck.. we might already know each other

(please.. only musicians who are actively gigging...)

Yup...would really like to get restaurant AND bar carry passed with no silly time restrictions. Don't really like walking back to the truck at 3 in the morning with a $2,000 instrument, a pocket full of cash, and nothing but a knife and flashlight to defend myself with.

I'm a full time recording engineer who carries all the time. If any of you have been to the music row area after dark you know why.

ha.. speaking of which.. just this week i was flying back from Phoenix carrying my instrument case to check in and the lady asks me

"sir... is that a firearm: to which i replied 'no'... then she said

"YOU SURE???????"

i hate how you think of all the great lines 3 minutes later to say back to them!

but anyway... i kinda think

if no one in the venue sees it....

Many tours, many records, couple grammy's and an HCP. PM me, I'm an engineer...

A very close friend of mine drives tour buses (out of Gallatin) for entertainers, and based on our conversations, I wouldn't be surprised if there were a whole lot of them who carry.

I shouldn't be surprised. About all of my picker buddies are very pro-gun. Kinda makes sense in the Country genre, as a lot of us are from a rural background. Back in the day, about every country musician did carry, ESPECIALLY in BARS. Those old "Park n' Stabs" were not, and are not places you want to be unarmed with a pocketful of cash late at night.

So, after chatting to a few of ya...

someone suggested we do a TGO Musicians shoot day. I'm thinking maybe at Guns and Leather. Anyone else interested?

I have been a pro musician for over 20 years. Seen some wild stuff go down.

I'm an engineer in the Memphis area, probably unable to shoot with you guys any time soon, but carry daily...

Im pretty sure i will be the only aussie there shooting a Ruger .357 (or XD9)

Well I consider myself semi-pro, I play drums in a steady working bar band in the Jackson/Dyersburg area, but it's good part-time income for me.

My pistol is always in the truck, since I obey the law and don't carry into the joint, once I'm out of the confines I re-arm.

There's always several of us when loading in and out, and there is always someone watching the gear
