Benelli M4 Rails

Recommended Posts

I just bought my dream shotgun. I have a Benelli M4 Tactical 11732

It has the Aluminum Handguard and 3 Picatinny rail attachments. Everything came with the Shotgun aside from the screws for the Picatinny rail attachments.

I bought it through a Benelli dealer in Texas, so they had Benelli mail them to me. I mounted a Cloud Defensive Rein 3 Weapon Light and after 10 rounds of .00 Buck shot the Light assembly fell off.  I took all the screws out and used Blue Loctite on them. I have not shot it again since, but the screws they sent me only go in like 4 threads deep.

If it happens again, I will need the Hand Guard Tapped and Dyed for new screws.

My question is can anyone recommend a gun smith to do this that will have the proper screws needed?

Contact - Cloud Defensive

I'd contact Cloud, tell them what happened, and ask for advice before I did anything else.

If you go the gunsmith route, you just want it drilled and tapped.  Taps form threads on the female portion.  Dies form threads on the male portion.
