Oh, I don't know. It seems to me that CNN is trying to make anyone and everyone look bad. They did a real hatchet job on Michael Moore recently. Their reporting was so error-filled that Moore made some major hay with it. CNN is trying its hardest to out-do Fox. Typical mistake. You don't try to beat the other guy at his own game. You beat him at YOUR game. CNN's response to Fox's popularity does two things: 1) It ruins any credibility CNN had in the past; and 2) Validates the Fox model. Both things are bad.

I have to agree with Dave. Not exactly the image we want to project as we work to preserve our rights. Biden scored major points with liberal voters (the ones who vote in Dem primaries) with his answer, thanks to some CNN producer who picked this guy.

Completely off the topic, but his "baby" looked pretty cool...

You are probably better versed on CNN as I haven't watched that trash since I was in Business school 2 summers ago. It was on the TV's in the Business school lounge.

Anyway. I haven't watched his video yet, maybe tonight when I get home.

I think the response totally shows the dem side fear of guns. The guy in the video was being sarcastic to make a point, but if he came on stage, half the auditorium would clear out. This is despite the fact he never violated any rules of gun safety or made any aggressive threats. His comments were actually defensive, but of course we all know anyone who ever holds a gun only wants to kill people en mass.

I agree, this guy was not the best representative those who are behind the 2A, but his point is valid.

true..and Joe Bidens' response is the newest approach by anti-gun officials.

Since the VA tech affair and the subsequent passing of laws that prohibit people who have been committed from gun ownership, Officials have been committing gun owners for mental evaluation. JUST the act of having them committed in some parts of the country are enough for their 2a rights to be REVOKED! Politicians have taken to using it as a weapon.

Mark my words..this WILL CONTINUE and it will be used as a way to further degrade our 2a rights.

While I agree with the sentement(sp), I was angered but not surprised that this particular video was chosen from among, most likely, some very educated and articulate questions. Sheds a bad light indeed. Biden's uppity, elitest attitude and response, while no surprise, made me angry.

Yes, to totally change the subject, when police/law enforcement/the judicial system can commit some one for evaluation just to remove their ability to purchase guns, that is where I draw the line.
