My HiPoint 9mm will shoot a 2" group at 25 yards...only problem was until I had over 600 rounds through it I averaged a jam per magazine. After they are broken in they stop jamming (or mine did and heard the same from lots of others).

Funny story - bought mine NIB at a gun show knowing nothing about it except it was super cheap price-wise ($135). I asked the guy I bought it from how to break it down to clean it, he gave me a funny look and said "If it gets so dirty it stops shooting just throw it away and buy a new one"...

I believe you can speed up the break in process by buffing the parkerizing off the feed ramp.

you can break em down, but i dont recommend it, took me HOURS to get my brothers .45 back together. Also, after it was cleaned, had the usual jamming problems again for a couple mags worth of ammo. Also I dont think the green is a "finish" I think it is krylon and Im not joking, thinner than sigs finish. One other thing is they are very suseptable to "limp wristing" even worse than a 1911.

Mike, I have seen em a couple places this week, Gunslingers in Kingsport, JFlotds in Sevierville, but not ast CCA or Sevier Indoor Range. Someone told me they are the number one selling gun in the country right now because there is no shortage of them at all.

I am disappointed in myself for typing this, but I actually kinda like the color. The gun is ugly as anything, but the color is kinda growing on me.

I've shot a HighPoint .45. I didn't like it. The person shooting it had no issues with it at all and was very happy with it. He even joked about the difference in prices between his HighPoint and my Kimber. He had no jams while he was at the range and it shot great.....for him. I hated the way it felt and shot. To me it's like the Cobra .380....so damn bulky and akward to hold, it makes shooting it a bad experiance. If it were Zombie time and that was all I had to fight with, I'd be better off just throwing the bullets at them.....I was really that bad with it.
