Microtech Ultratech is impressive

I would consider myself a long time knife guy but this is by far and away the highest quality, tacti-coolest edc knife I have ever had.  Microtech UTX-85. I am truly impressed with this thing. All my Benchmade and Spyderco may start to collect dust.

Glad to hear your Microtech works well.  I purchased one years ago and it was difficult to operate.  I thought it would improve with use however it became more difficult to open and almost impossible to retract.  It has become an expensive letter/package opener.

Send it back to Microtech for service.  Their customer support is pretty damn good.

At the moment it needs a cleaning and is not faithfully opening… a little lube and a blow job will fix it right up though
