An Infowars reader has sent a page taken from the Hardeman County, Tennessee, Bulletin Times announcing a seat belt checkpoint to be conducted on April 4 “in conjunction with a Homeland Security training exercise by the 251st Military Police in Bolivar who recently returned from Iraq†(see a PDF version of the announcement here, on page two).

In response to a number of calls to the Tennessee Governor’s office, the Whiteville, Tennessee police have canceled a planned seat belt checkpoint operation that was to be conducted in conjunction with the Department of Homeland Security and the 251st Military Police in Bolivar, Tennessee.

A training exercise in time may become an actual situation. Do not let it start and there will be no greater problems later.

I sometimes think the government is testing what we will accept.

Yeap.

I'm a bit miffed that Bredesen views this situation as merely a potential "headache." It would be nice to see a politician get righteous about his state's sovereignty.

Watch it y'all. The government is our friend and is only looking out for our best interests. They know what they are doing even though we don't and we don't need to. The worlds a scary place and if they were to tell us how scary it really is well the sheeple would crap their pants.

Now the good people of Hardeman Cty should be demanding all elected officials involved to resign and others fired or demoted.
