I ran across an ad for this in the June issue of Shooting Illustrated.  While I’m not likely to get one right now, I was intrigued.  I thoughts one couldn’t legally put a stock on a pistol?  I watched some of the videos on this site and in one of them, the guy had some pretty good ideas on adding accessories to his.  Does anyone have one if these things?

I checked them out at the NRA convention and thought they looked cool. One of my reservations is the same as yours. Can you put a stock on it? I wouldn't think so, since it's a pistol, but I'm not an expert. The other reservation is that without a stock I'm not seeing a purpose aside from the cool factor. With a barrel that short the increased sight radius is lost w/out a stock. I'm sure I'm just missing something that someone explains b/c it looks fun.

I believe these were originally developed/marketed to be used with a brace. If you put a stock on it, then it’s an SBR and all NFA rules apply.

I thought so too, but wondered when I saw in their site that you could order one with or without a stock.  Their word not mine.  I doubt I’ll ever really understand the crazy rules of the ATF.  But if course, that what they count on.

It’s not an SBR until you put your Glock in it.
