New England Pardner Question

What do you think of this offer.

A guy has a two used shotguns, good shape, New England Pardners. One is a 410 and the other 20ga. Both single shot.

He is wanting to get rid of them both for $175. Actually, I have no need for either, but if the deal was good enough and could help me in a future trade, thought it might be worth while.

It looks like these guns new would retail about $250 combined.

They're ok guns, but reliability is questionable imo.

My former roommate had a 12 ga. After a couple of years of light use, the assembly screw on the end of the stock broke off. It cost more to repair than to replace the gun.
